Q. I have my rasi lagna at 29 degrees Capricorn, does this make my first house Aquarius or Capricorn?

A. Your ascendant is Capricorn. But your first house starts from 14 degrees Capricorn to 14 degrees Aquarius. Basically, 15 degrees on either side of the ascendant degree.
